1. His heart was shaken by piles of tragedies,
And tenderness sprouted, and its depths trembled.

2. Tenderness drives me, and caution holds me back,
And the heart returned, revealed by tenderness.

3. Until, when worries overwhelmed me and
My eyes overflowed with tears of passion reproaching me.

4. Inspiration stirred in a heart that almost disobeyed,
If it were not for the flashes, its rhymes would have vanished.

5. With money, family, and souls we ransom him,
He who came to us with the truth, fulfilling it.

6. He who was the lighthouse of the world
After darkness of straying engulfed it.

7. This is the son of Amina, his omens emerged,
So the universe blossomed and its poles trembled.

8. This is the spring of piety, O people, pouring down,
Quenching hearts, so draw from its conduits.

9. This one who came with the Quran, his trait
Is light, and nothing in life rivals it.

10. A light shining with the light that came bearing
From the light of your Lord flowing in the cosmos.

11. Ordering justice and spreading kindness,
Sowing goodness and establishing faith.

12. Until the palace of injustice crashed down in ruins,
And the palace of divine mysteries rose with justice.

13. With truth he was sent, the Merciful uttering it,
And Allah is most truthful in His address when He speaks.

14. No matter how long Allah’s servants extend their reckoning,
For Allah has spoken, and His word is enough.

15. My master, O Messenger of Allah, forgive me,
For the heart is depressed by what it is suffering.

16. What tragedy is this day laden with sorrow?
And what worries from events should I recount?

17. Your procession, my master, cloaked in sadness,
Complaining to Allah of what it is enduring.

18. Our children in Palestine, tortured by
The enemy’s whip with humiliation and distortion.

19. Lebanon has become aggrieved by its setback,
After the enemies blackened its nights.

20. In every place a crying virgin,
Perplexed, and a woman recounting her tragedies.

21. Afghanistan cries bloody tears,
And its wound found no friend to comfort it.

22. A people living as outcasts on earth,
Finding no shelter in life to protect them.

23. Their only crime was demanding
The book of Allah be their guide.

24. The Nile is afflicted with what afflicted it,
How many disasters have befallen its valley.

25. O You who prepare our shrouds and send them,
There is enough horror in the Gulf.

26. Countless dead and wounded,
O Muslims, enough killing we encounter.

27. What will you say to the Merciful tomorrow,
The day of judgement, for the burden He will judge?

28. A sea of blood flowing without cause,
Stop, by your Lord...its banks have overflowed.

29. Jerusalem cries as the Jews shook
The foundations of the House, about to collapse.

30. The cornerstone is abandoned, the ceiling quaking,
The minarets so close to colliding.

31. While the Arabs in languor slept hoping
Thunder would strike the enemies of guidance there.

32. This structure was once the bastion of glory,
And "God is Great" echoed from its heights.

33. It has become, my master, overflowing with sorrow,
Crying for those who now cry within it.

34. Sometimes overlooking my state and eulogizing me,
Scattering and other times I eulogize it in verse.

35. O Muslims, enough sleep, enough languor,
The procession of your prophet, long are his eulogies.

36. The sons of Zion lost in their labyrinths,
While Muslims lost their lives straying.

37. Rise O Salah, answer your Prophet's procession, rise,
None but you can meet Him on high.

38. Arrows notched, poised to shoot them.
All await a command of your orders,

39. Ready to serve, striving to fulfill it.
For truth, shake the lion in its den,

40. It has chosen to relive its bygone days.
With swords truth is respected,

41. And the sword speaks truer than tales and beckoning.
Whoever's dwelling is with the sublime,

42. And whoever dies, Gardens of Eternity host him.
