I found the field of words vast, so I said,
١. إليكها من شاعرٍ شاكِرِ
ألفى مجالَ القول رَحباً فقال
2. Yet I did not say a fraction
Of what some of your great favors deserve
٢. ولم يَقُل مِعشَارَ ما يَقتَضِي
بعضُ أيادِيكَ العراضِ الطوال
