1. When I was young, the first thing I undertook
Was to study God's book with dedication

2. I have always spent my time with it, gaining
What brings success to those who seek knowledge by day

3. Its taste was sweet when I recited it with my mouth
My heart shone when I memorized it forever

4. I succeeded in memorizing it perfectly
My memorization brought its distant meaning closer

5. Soon, God willing, I will complete it
Seeking from Him what He promised on Resurrection Day

6. So I may be crowned with the crown of honor that day
And intercede for my family as promised
