1. Enter in God's name this abode of goodness
An abode of purity and wise reflection

2. A royal bathhouse where thoughts are refined
And intellects of the great are perfected

3. With fires whose heat is made pleasant
And abundant flowing sweet water

4. Water and fire, two opposites suffice
Garments of dignity are cast off

5. The first garment: the cloak of honor
God graced it with a master whose virtues

6. Dazzle like the sun at noon's height
The likes of our sultan Abul Hajjaj

7. May his lofty luminous reign endure
