1. Saud illuminated a community like flowers,
The gardens of life flourished, bearing flowers.

2. The eggs of hopes came to us ripe,
We wore their green robes never to take off.

3. So our God gives us cups that intoxicate us,
We got drunk but drank no wine or liquor.

4. We drank the wine of the soul, not of fun, so the soul
Got tipsy and feels at peace and delighted.

5. Except the mouth of fate soured
To us, so fate's mouth soured for long.

6. The world shone in beauty and joy,
Showing us cheerful faces and tender hearts.

7. The chain of hopes cured the sickness,
So the heart was watered after being broken.

8. It is the glorious faith seeking its glory,
And the seekers of glory deserve the glorious faith.

9. They proposed with the sword and set out
To drive the best of souls to it as expensive dowry.

10. Before they asked for aid for its people,
But when they refused, they took their bride by force.

11. If the whites of lasses were veiled, then let
Your means be the whites of rifles and bays.

12. Unless a figure of chastity came out
From its cover, never leaving the veil.

13. Like deer among the loved companions walking proudly
So it only chooses the glorious and free man.

14. It smiles from a mouth that makes us compose poetry
Harmonizing the two as if stringing pearls.

15. It glimpses with the eyelids of allurement, so if it winks
It breathes magic into minds from its glances.

16. It was so skilled that it fascinated both nomad and settled
With its incomparable beauty.

17. We hoped for its affection but sometimes
Complained of its aloofness.

18. It assumed command of justice over us
And it deserves to rule prohibition and command.

19. You see a state above the plain stronger
In prestige despite having been lesser before.

20. Especially in a nation united
On truth until it attained glory and pride.

21. It rose to the peak of advancement and prospered
In towering buildings, with eagles landing on them.

22. It endured an age so its efforts succeeded,
Thus, he who perseveres reaps the fruits.

23. They enjoyed the fruits of glory, sweet, and long
Enjoyed what was harvested from the past, bitter fruit.

24. Many a dear soul was degraded among people
While many a lowly soul gained esteem.

25. So shame on days that went by disgraceful,
Speaking ill if chronicled their memory stinks.

26. Worthy of beautiful praise is Mahmoud Shoukat,
So compose for him refined prose and poetry.

27. He is the glorious protector, truly his glory
His efforts publicized shine brightly.

28. When the tyranny of rebels overflowed
And they declared openly their misguidance and disbelief.

29. He stormed them with strong determination and an army
And led against them a raging and ferocious army.

30. He attacked the formidable border with forces
That would shake mountain bases or make the gaps gape.

31. With heroes who boldly confront havoc
When even the black lions flee in panic.

32. He did not stop until he disgraced his formidable foe
And ruled the high fortresses that were demolished.

33. So for the unionists when the darkness
Of calamities covered them at the break of an ugly dawn,

34. It was a God-given victory raising his prestige
And breaking the assembly of oppressors decisively.

35. O nation of justice, so prepare the likes of him
Who made the like of him his valuable preparedness.

36. As did its two honorable leaders, Nizami and Anwar
They eased its rugged path, by God.

37. Long live the Caliphate sun-crowned governance
Whose structures were erected on the hair of Pegasus.

38. And the Sultanate filtered and shaded
The land until it ruled the land and sea.

39. Hello to its days, adorned with flowers,
Enlightened by nights with splendid full moons.

40. May that sun of its Saud shine upon us
And this moon beams as a splendid full moon.

41. With the Caliph of Righteous Guidance Mohammed
The affection of royalty sways with an open, delighted chest.

42. And with the fifth Mansour the Caliphate tied
And Sultanate whose omens came consecutive.

43. We rejoiced at the blessing God spread its shade over us,
Undeserving we were of such grace to reciprocate with thanks.

44. He is the full moon but the traits of his person
Are stars in the sky beyond count.

45. He removed injustice from us spreading the shade of his justice,
So he did well in folding it and perfuming its diffusion.

46. Since he assumed authority, fate brought back command,
Mohammed Sultan of Righteous Guidance heralded good tidings.
