٩. تملك الحسن والجمال ففي
الغيد من الحسن بعض ما يهب

And every beloved agony is sweet.
١٠. مر الجفا حلوة شمائله
وكل حب عذابه عذب
11. Indian, its glances have not ceased
To be groomed by Arabic eyelids.

وقد نمته الغطارف العرب

اتت عليها الدهور والحقب
