1. O nation of monotheism, endure, endure
The matter is decided and very serious

2. Gird your loins and sharpen your swords
And renew with the ancients a pact

3. When injustice hurts, roar like lions
And crowd upon death in multitudes

4. Indeed the enemy has robbed us of glory
In days when tyranny ruled

5. And God has returned good fortune to us
When He saw Islam striving

6. So unite in covenant
And seize noble deeds and praise

7. And take knowledge, adopt righteousness
And take from the Psalms the promise

8. That for you is the promise of victory
I saw the free man who strove

9. Yearning to attain the most high, and found
And toiled like bees to garner honey
