1. O people, I do not yearn for my homeland
Until I see the horses that were lost amongst you all

2. Now one revels on the Feast of the Sacrifice
Neither did the Arabs attain its meadows nor the non-Arabs

3. I am too small for a sacrifice on any day other than the day they departed
So your only sacrifices are horses and camels

4. You are but the grace of God embodied
For us, and in your hands lie sustenance and allotment

5. You have judged until we were tempted to wrong - so many
Who shared blessings now share retribution

6. Indeed, now that the guidance of the Messiah is evident
Had He not guided, the nations would not have gone astray

7. In every direction nations unchecked by prophets roam
Far from guidance, harbouring so much harm

8. The lands and those who dwell therein are fearful
To you they flee, though you called them near

9. We do not care if the protected and the protected in God are absent
Say you will reclaim it, for your word to them is a vow
