The seer is blinded in it by day

Night people flee from it in terror

3. I am in it as if on the edge of a well
Fearing scorpion and dreading mouse

4. And when soft winds blow
Its walls begin to sway and collapse

5. Lord, hasten its decay and deliver me
From my fears, for I am weary of caution
