1. To excuse us, O Messenger of Allah, we
Suffer under calamities so great

2. They killed an abased nation and proclaimed
That our sleepiness was harmful to the religion

3. And they are our enemies in secret, but
There are differences when it comes to confrontation

4. Some hide their heads in the sand
And strut arrogantly like ostriches

5. While another falsely claims Islam
And forcibly rules the people with the sword

6. They see our blood as permissible to spill
Cruel ones panting without any conscience

7. The morning after peace they're all hawks
And during war most similar to doves

8. They trample souls without any shame
While they were created to drag people down

9. The flood's scum has become similar to us
Lost without guidance like beasts

10. O Messenger of Allah, pay no heed to the
Ugly image some villains have portrayed

11. Your face's light resisted the dark
Along with faith declared openly to the shadows

12. So disbelief vanished from Qais and with you
The caravans began to wave greetings

13. And here you've witnessed the bleeding of my bodies
As they abhorred death, those misfortunes

14. A youth not fearing death
Called each other to the flames though the horizon was still dark

15. My father and my soul I sacrifice for you, ahead of
Anyone else I present them to the line of fire

16. If only I had a tribe and horses
I would have made those scoundrels hear my words

17. But here no weapon has any influence
Except my pen to awaken the sleeping

18. If only we had a sword in its sheath
And we had a bow and arrows

19. Good deed, there is no doubt
You are far above any accusation

20. My call one day, O Messenger of Allah
To be cured by your pond from my sickness

21. With your praise I hope though ruin is behind me
And the enemies have corrupted a good ending
