1. Hasten to the truth and rely on
The word of a wise one, adept in wisdom,
١. سارعْ إلى الحقّ وعوّلْ على
قولِ حكيمٍ بارع الحِكمةِ
2. If you wish to live, then be truthful
For the liar is like the dead.
٢. إنْ شئتَ أنْ تَحيا فكنْ صادقاً
فإنّما الكذّابُ كالمَيّتِ
