1. The heart was calmed by the love of an unyielding one
Its stillness augmented by its stirring
١. سَكَنَ القلبَ هوى ذي صَلَفٍ
زادَهُ فيه سكوناً حَرَكُهْ
2. So it is as the axis which remains fixed
As the sphere revolves around it
٢. فهو كالمركزِ يَبْقى ثابتاً
كلّما دارَ عَلَيْه فَلَكُهْ
