1. The mother of Bakr blamed me, after calm,
And blame can hurt me.

2. She warned me of time, then she said:

Leave off blame from you, and keep me.

4. Indeed, this generosity and nobility

6. I said what I said about one who is true,
Evident, not about one who gives me.

7. Our land poured forth its rain from your sky after barrenness,
And after the evil suspicions.
