١. وَصاحَت مَساميرُ الرِحالِ وَكُلِّفَت
عَلى الجَهدِ بالموماةِ سَيراً مُطَحطَحا
2. As a flock of summer birds screamed
That had promised a vineyard in the morning merrily
٢. كَما صاحَ سِربٌ مِن عَصافيرِ صَيفَةٍ
تَواعَدنَ كَرماً بالسَراةِ مُمَزَّحا
