1. God is the protector of the weak when they call
From the tyranny of time and evil kin though near
١. اللَهُ جارُ عِتيٍّ دعوةً شَفَقاً
مِن الزَمانِ وَشَرُّ الأَقرَبِ الوالي
2. All have turned from him, none draw him close
Amid the saved, nor in the empty hall.
٢. مِن كُلِّ أَحيَدَ عَنهُ لا يُقَرِّبُهُ
وَسطَ النَجيِّ وَلا في المَجلِسِ الخالي
