4. If you try to lift oppression, then strike
With the sword of Muhammad and abandon Jesus

With it a wolf, it never saved a flock

6. Have you not revealed a new gospel
That teaches us refusal, not submission

7. Save us from the torment of slavery, not from
The torment of hell, if you are able

8. Oh Lebanon, your children died a death
And I thought they were sleeping a deep sleep

9. Did you not see them while the fire of war was burning
As if their blood had frozen to ice

10. An opportunity appeared for you to live free
So beware not to waste it

11. And you have no day after this day
