And sprinkled it with the softest light.

6. The garden reciprocated the intoxication of wishes,
With apparitions, and the magic of union.

7. So your union was nothing but eternity,
The genius of gardens and peaks.

8. What is poetry if not in your hands,
An intimate fervor or obedient chant?

9. What is a flower if your words do not harmonize,
Its wishes into pleasure and yearning?

10. I seek refuge for you from the evil of this world,
And the insinuations of deviation within it.
