1. The time rejoiced in a space full of lights
After the mood in the darkness of sorrows

2. And its desires rejoiced at what
It had seen, a sea of flowing knowledge

3. And so did the months dress and cloak
Themselves in clothes of joys from journeys

4. Then the nights, whenever they passed us
Were like the stars of the Almighty

5. We said to it, O time, what is it
That clad you in lights till you shone?

6. It answered us: Have you not seen the master
Whose fame spread in countries and towns?

7. So Oman was honored by him and his joy
And gained virtue over all regions

8. And people came to him to quench their thirst
From his abundant sea of mysteries

9. And most of the creations crowded around him
And he quenched them from his flowing grace

10. He is the one who gained supremacy and loftiness
And might, honor, and spreading nobility

11. Of knowledge, then forbearance and generosity that
Does not cease for all with diadems

12. No fault in them except that their tears
Flow down their limbs like rain

13. So may their Lord reward them with a Paradise
Underneath which rivers flow

14. O our hoped-for pole in times of distress
A savior for one confused in his matter

15. You who were named with the name of Muhammad
Lives on, elite of the Almighty

16. You have attained sovereignty, benevolence, piety
Virtue, aid and remembrance

17. And light has covered all your land that
Gained blessings and secrets

18. And so do the honorable angels throng
In mention, supplication and remembrance

19. With remembrance you revive every heedless heart
O victory for one who loudly remembers!

20. You, whom your Lord gave loftiness
That rises above the sky like a planet

21. And so are the miracles that testified to you
That the wise and noble saw with their eyes

22. And the envious haters, God deprived them
Of hearing and sight when they denied God's grace

23. When they rejected the grace of God, Satan led them astray
With delusion and deception

24. He attained the caliphate from his father and grandfather
Of high station and master of the righteous

25. So he guided people to the path and they became
Seeking the presence of the Forgiver

26. And he is the one who supported religion
With proofs from Quran and tradition

27. Were it not for him, people would become followers of innovations
Misguided by the ignorant and evil

28. So he removed from them every persisting deviation
And drew their hearts to remembering the Creator

29. Thus you see his followers who held fast
To his guidance among people like moons

30. And you see those who distanced themselves from his presence
Out of envy, like the dogs of Hell

31. If they saw him, they pretended affection
While their hearts were constantly denying

32. O victory for one who attained affection through nearness
To a master and came to the one of lights

33. In the presence of angels, poles, substitutes, assistants and the righteous
As well as the knowing, the elite, and the chosen ones

34. They are the men whom the Lord of all dignified
Above the rest of mankind

35. My master, I have come to draw
From your abundant mystery of secrets

36. So turn to a servant who has come overwhelmed
By crimes of sins and burdens

37. None despair of your side, protected
For you are a branch of the purest souls

38. And the prayers of my Lord always
Be with the chosen one, the best of mankind

39. And so on his companions and progeny
For they are guiding stars of the righteous

40. And those who walked in their path
My masters and supporters

41. And Muhammad said it, a son to one
Named Hamoud the earner of burdens

42. She appeared smiling when she saw
A face whose light is upon lights

43. Her dowry is only your acceptance, my master
For your acceptance removes my shame

44. Then peace be upon all who take refuge
In your side for frequent remembrance
