2. I swear by the basil and the doubled melody and the single string,
If the noble one passes away without enjoying the sight of Abdeyh,

3. We will share with the sons of Umayya in notorious misguidance,
And we will say Abu Bakr did not usurp and Umar did no wrong,

4. And we will see Muawiya as an imam - whoever opposes him is an infidel,
And we will say Yazid did not kill Al-Hussein nor did he order it,

5. And we will count Talhah and Zubair among the pure pearls,
And the admission of Abdeyh into hellfire will be around the noble one's neck.
