1. Like thunder amidst the lightning
And the wind stoking its fury
١. كأَنَّ الرُّعودَ خِلالَ البُرو
قِ والرّيحُ تُكْثِرُ تَحْريضَها
2. Gnats when their wings flutter
Shed their whiteness upon it
٢. زُنوجٌ إِذا خَفَقَتْ بَيْنَها
دَبادِبُها جَرَّدَتْ بيضَها
