As the sick rejoiced for the doctor

2. And the weary heart surrendered
To passion as the youth surrenders to the elder

3. Oh, the pleasant blow of the breeze
The kindred spirit of the soul, what a kindred spirit you are

4. As if the soul sensed from it the sweet mention of
The unique, refined master

5. My father, Abu Nasr ibn Mishkan
Who has become peerless amongst the people

6. May God complete His blessings upon him
And not deprive him of joy and pleasure
