1. Welcome, O beloved ones who've arrived
By my life, your absence pained me for far too long
١. مَرحَباً بِالأَحِبَّةِ القادِمينا
فَلَعَمري لَطالَ ما أَوحَشونا
2. I only mention the neighbors when you journey afar
So my love for you is hidden from all people
٢. إِنَّما أَذكُرُ الجِوارَ إِذا شَطّ
وا ليَخفى الهَوى عَلى العالَمينا
3. And when the house gathers us together again
I'll say "Woe to those who slandered us"
٣. وَإِذا الدارُ مَرَّةً جَمَعَتنا
قُلتُ وَاحَسرَتا عَلى الظاعِنينا
4. None know of our love except Allah
Yet people suspect much
٤. وَالهَوى لَيسَ يَعلَمُهُ إِلّا اللَ
هُ وَالناسُ يُكثِرونَ الظُنونا
