1. She tied her headscarf, if only it were a headache

١. عَصَّبَت رَأسَها فَلَيتَ صُداعاً
قَد شَكَتهُ إِليَّ كانَ بِراسي
2. Then do not complain, though she deserves reward
While I was suffering illness from her
٢. ثُمَّ لا تَشتَكي وَكانَ لَها الأَج
رُ وَكُنتُ السِقامَ عَنها أُقاسي
3. Until someone who saw me would say
Thus does the loving comforter act
٣. ذاكَ حَتّى يَقولَ لي مَن رَآني
هَكَذا يَفعَلُ المُحِبُّ المُواسي
