1. My repentance for every sin
Is that I came, my soul filled with faith

2. I came knocking on a door where every sinner
Comes to turn away from it, yet it is most generous

3. It has hosted a generous one who does not believe in what
It gives him, yet it finds joy in giving to the soul

4. So forgive, pardon, relent and let go, for in my liver
Are sins that cry out and sensations that are awake

5. My Lord, here are my hands raised pleading
And from Your gifts to them are pardon and forgiveness

6. And in sorrows are raging volcanoes
And who can withstand their floods on the cheeks

7. The eye of one who called on You confessing
His sin and regretting what had passed, flowed

8. Its white days escaped from his fingers
When he disobeyed You, so sorrows ravaged him

9. My Lord, I came to You hoping for nothing
Except Your pleasure, so my eyes are infatuated

10. So if You take the evildoer for what I committed
The devil seduced me from it to the oath

11. So grant justice and do not lose his merchandise
For Your law is justice and forgiveness is kindness

12. And if You show mercy, it is abundant generosity
And You are in grace, affectionate and benevolent
