٥٣. إِذَا وَصَلْنَ العَوْمَ بِالْهِرَكْلِ
رَجْرَجْنَ مِن أَعْجازِهِن الخُزْلِ

٥٤. أَوْراكَ رَمْلٍ وَإِلجٍ فِي رَمْلِ
مِنْ رَمْلِ يَرْنَى أَوْ رِمالِ الدُبْلِ

Invoking doom and decrying my name

٥٥. يَجْثِي عَلَى بَرْدِيِّ غَيْلٍ خَدْلِ
وَكُنَّ ذا القَرْحِ قَتَلْنَ قَبْلِي

كَأَنَّهَا مَقْلِيَّةٌ أَوْ تَقْلِي

٦٢. لَمَّا رَأَتْ جَبْهَةَ رَأْسٍ صَعْلِ

٦٣. جَلْحاءَ بِئْسَتْ مُسْتَغاثُ القَمْلِ

٦٤. ذاتُ الوِشاحَيْنِ وَذَاتُ الحِجْلِ

وَإِذْ رُمِينَا بِالخُطُوبِ الثُعْلِ

٧٥. جِئْنَا بِأَبْكارٍ وَحاجٍ بُزْلِ
إِلَى امْرِئٍ ضَخْمِ الدَسِيعِ جَزْلِ

٧٦. يُناهِبُ المُدْلِينَ حِينَ يُدْلِي
بِواسِعِ الفَرْغِ رَحِيبِ السَجْلِ

٧٧. يَمُدُّ مِنْ حَوْماتِ غَيْرِ مُكْلِ
ثَغْبَ دَجِيْلٍ فِي سَوَاقِي دِجْلِ

٧٨. فَرْعٌ سَقَى مِنْهُ نُضَار الأَثْلِ
طَيِّبُ أَعْراقِ الثَرَى فِي الأَصْلِ

٧٩. فَحلٌ سَمَا لِلمَجْدِ وَابْنُ فَحْلِ
تَرَاهُ فِي صُورَةِ غَيرِ بَسْلِ

٨٠. كَالبَدْر أَعْراه الظَلَام المُجْلِي
لَيْسَ تُرابُ أَرْضِهِ بِمَحْلِ
