1. Be patient when fate is unkind, and hope for relief
That Allah will send after despair and grief

2. For the patience of the grape, though imprisoned
In the darkness of vines, led it to the cup's sweetness

3. Misfortune in our days now
Covers all people like the night does

4. And all are satisfied, and above satisfaction
With the eloquence of food and clothes

5. And preventing what they hope for
Is something that makes people despair
