1. O oppressor, stop!
You are resentful of the ruler

2. All the sweetness you have tasted
Is torture and embers

3. No plea of the oppressed reaches
Anyone but Allah as cover

4. So fear Allah, nothing of Him
Remains hidden from Him as secret

5. He will gather the oppressor and oppressed
After death for reckoning

6. Where no authority prevents
And no excuse is heard

7. Does not the death that comes to you
And then the grave caution you

8. Some of the horrors within it
Are for you a deterrent
