1. I concealed my sorrow, yet could not endure
To hide the outpouring of overflowing tears -

2. Raining, pouring down ceaselessly -
And none can tell if a speck in the eye

3. Flowed over, or if deep within it tears
Gushed forth abundantly, openly.

4. Like leaves, none knows if upon a departing
Soul they lamented, or rejoiced at its release -

5. Of one who migrated, absent and gone.
