1. Conceal your worries with composure and be patient,
Surely the honorable is patient with events,
١. اُستُر هُمومَكَ بالتَّجمُّلِ واُصطَبِر
إنَّ الكريمَ على الحوادثِ يَصبِرُ
2. Like a candle showing its light with composure,
Fearing gloating though in it a fire rages.
٢. كالشَّمعِ يُظهرُ نورَه مُتجَمِّلاً
خوفَ الشَّماتِ وفيه نارٌ تُسعَرُ
