1. O my room, if you could speak
Describe me to them after I'm gone

2. And if they carry my body
To be buried in the earth

3. Tell them what you witnessed
For the soul's assumptions are invalidated by sight

4. By God I did not in you
Reveal any female's or male's private parts

5. And I once lived in you innocently
Without anything private exposed

6. So if they doubt me and you do not describe me
Then God knows I have no burden

7. He is my witness in their consciences
Against any ugly thing they say or mention
