1. Enough of sorrow that sixty-four
Of my years have passed like verses of poetry

ูก. ูƒูู‰ ุญุฒู†ุง ุฃู† ู‚ุฏ ู…ุถุช ู„ูŠ ุฃุฑุจุน
ูˆุณุชู‘ูˆู† ู…ู† ุนู…ุฑูŠ ูƒู†ุธู… ุฌู…ุงู†

2. And I did not find in them a companion of insight
To be a helper for me in this time

3. I sought them in every clan and abode
But did not find among them

4. A hand of sincerity and loyalty to grasp mine
And pledge me its troth, nor did I thank them with my tongue

5. I went along with the brethren, observant of loyaltyโ€™s duty
But when they turned away from me, I drew in my reins
