To my soul's need when attaining its wishes
١. ويوم منى أعرضت عنه ولم أقل
لحاجة نفسي عند نيل نوالها
2. And people have a need in the sick soul
When the soul desires a goal it cannot attain
٢. وللناس في النفس المريضة حاجة
إذا النفس رامت خطّة لا تنالها
