١. ولقد رميت من الزمان بنائب
أدمت مواضع عضّه أسنانه
2. But death rules over us with equity,
Revealing justice in the staves he craved.
٢. والموت يحكم بيننا بسويّة
ويُبين فضل قضائه عيدانه
