1. O you who walk
Complaining of fate's cruelty -

2. Crying out to the Creator of all
As if the weakest of creatures could aid you,

3. As if one powerless could be your refuge
In times of woe and misery -

4. Did you not enter the world through Divine decree,
With sustenance already allotted?

5. So trust in God, for your provision is assured,
None can deprive you of what is yours.

6. Submit to the whole as you did at first,
And leave the details to the universe.

7. For He who gave you life and grace
Will not forsake you in your place,

8. Have faith, believe, and you will always find
God remembers you, for you are in His mind.
