1. It has a gentle swaying in the branches,
And it leans towards the palm trees.

2. The best young men visited,
Eager for good deeds.

3. They visited Prophet Muhammad,
And paid respect to him and his companions―

4. The best of mankind, perfect
In traits, no deficiency in him.

5. How much has come to us from his Lord
In his virtue that we recite.

6. He drank all knowledge entirely,
And for all of God's creations he was a conduit.

7. He knew the unseen fully,
No guessing or fumbling.

8. By his prayer the adversity departed
And ease spread through the horizons.

9. The lion of battles―his claws
There tore armies and foes.

10. With the sword of his religion
The wings of the pagan faith he severed.
