1. I remembered her goodness in four ways
So I shed tears - four by four

2. He called me but my yearning for her delayed me
And I wished to hasten

3. Were it not for the shackles of misfortune upon me
I would have been her obedient slave

4. So O lightning by Allah if you pass by her
And hover around her four times over

5. Prostrate yourself upon her grave
And make her abode your highest sanctuary

6. And convey my greetings O messenger of guidance
Muhammad the most noble master

7. And say O most precious of creation I am suffering
I hope in you for this life and faith

8. So intercede for me in both
That God may grant me what is best

9. And I know you are present
Seeing me as I call out to you

10. But you are the sun the sun of guidance
And Taybah has become your place of emergence
