1. Praise be to Allah, the Rich, the One
The One, the Unique, the Exalted, the Eternal

2. The Master, the Absolute, the best of masters
Protector of my names, His servant Muhammad

3. The best of all creation in being and attributes
Blessings of our Lord upon him, honored him

4. And his family, companions and all adherents
And after: So listen, o lover of Mustafa

5. I composed His blessed names, in them is healing
I composed eighty and a hundred

6. In poem and prose and twenty
I composed them as a unique necklace for it

7. It adorned our era with beauty
With its goodness, it surpassed gems

8. I named it with the best means
In composing the names of the perfect Prophet

9. I want Allah's pleasure for this composer
And every reader, listener and respondent

10. Who became his loving Muslim
All are descriptions of amazing praise

11. Some repeated with their synonyms
Most are definites, few indefinites

12. For being descriptions, not definite knowledge
Of them are the good names with which Allah graced him

13. Above eighty, with them He adorned him
A sign from Him of His pleasure with him

14. That He made him His deputy and trustee
Over people, a decisive ruler

15. And each part came independent
Needing no preceding nor following

16. The names matched comprehensively
Understanding came easily with the composition

17. The names of the best of those in the heavens harmonized
I only used little

18. Of grammar like descriptive prolongation
Or numbers resembling detailing

19. I summarized them in it without alteration
They are His attributes as depicted

20. What might mislead the listener
To other than the clear intended meaning

21. Like the hostile debater and adversary
I associated it with a name and description

22. In His praise, explaining the confusion
Muhammad in every age is the first

23. For he is the pole, around him is the practice
The indication of his essence is most complete

24. Others are descriptions summarized of him
So attributing to him was most proper

25. On letters for rhymes composed
Subject then object, and genitive mentioned

26. Last letter voweled and mostly
Rhyme preceded and mostly

27. One virtue through him has been great
They are exalted names, all noble

28. I made them into a wonderful poem
It was very difficult and impregnable for me

29. I forced it until it became compliant
I perfected his praise through it, so heed

30. I composed it in seven days
Refined it in about half a year

31. Until it became perfectly composed
What a blessed name, blessed names

32. His Master has graced him through them
I honored it with an elegant, eloquent, gentle

33. Poem and gifted it to the master of creation
To whom it befits, he the sea and it the brook

34. So his pearls returned, strung together
I turned it over once the essence shone

35. Harmonizing, magnifying and diminishing
Not ceasing to put first and last

36. Until it became free in its genre
And a necklace for his loftiness, solid

37. With the adornment of upright religion, fulfilling
And providing you wealth and fulfilling

38. Be aware of it and be a supplicant for me
And set out saying in praise of the revered

39. Muhammad, Ahmad, Ta-Ha, the refuge
The master, the holy, the innocent

40. He is the shining, the illumination, the reciter
The light, light of Allah, cannot be extinguished

41. With his Master's light, corporeal he appeared
Muhammad the latter, the requiter

42. The victorious, the desirer, the desired
The courageous, the refined of the city, the adorned

43. And lord of the chosen city, the selected
Paradise took pride in him over its chambers and the sky

44. Muhammad the pure, the chosen
Of good lineage, the moderate, the refined

45. And most pure of people, the affinity, the most pure
And most pure of people in every description, most generous

46. Muhammad the answerer, the responder
The responder, the hidden, the watcher

47. The chosen, the elite, the beloved
The devoted, the most devoted, the repenting

48. He never ceased to be a faithful servant to the Merciful
Muhammad the messenger, the warner

49. The good news, the aid, the granter of refuge
The rain, the salvation, the rescuer

50. Slave of the Grantor of aid, his name Ajer
He gave us refuge from every horror that darkened

51. Muhammad the glad tidings bearer, the bearer of good news
The human, the warner, the forewarner

52. The downpour, the illuminating, and the star
Dawn, luminous, planet, and Giver

53. His light removed darkness from us
Muhammad the evidence, remover of slips

54. He is the pardoner, corrector of good deeds
He is the forgiving, for us, of mistakes

55. The last, the taker, of recompenses
To every Muslim he made it smooth

56. Muhammad the foremost in good deeds
Of miracles, signs, and rising ranks

57. And highest connection, taker of charities
Reader of towns, taker of obligatory alms

58. Forbidden for him to consume, ever
Muhammad the equalizer, splitter of sustenance

59. And companion of ascension, and the Buraaq
And rider of she-camel and Buraaq

60. Perfecter of noble manners
To the generous, he came perfecting

61. Muhammad the dresser, the cloaked
Taken on a night journey, revealed to him sent

62. Upon him recited, pray, descended
Upon him is apportioned, he is the reciter

63. How much he recited remembrance and glorified
Muhammad the anticipator, the reliant

64. The worshipper, the blessed, the supplicant
The humbled, the revelation, the afflicted

65. Exalted and for messengers the first
All emulated him, to him pledged

66. Muhammad he is the first responder
Of virtue, preferring and preferred

67. Guardian of grace, virtuous, graced
The promiser, the fulfiller, the hopeful

68. He never said a word except he fulfilled it
Muhammad the caliph, the remover of discord

69. Caliph of Allah, the perfect trustee
And owner of the crown, the just imam

70. And of position, bearer of the standard
Under it every prophet, most generous

71. Muhammad the joiner, the joined
The eloquent, the arrivor, the arrival

72. The abandoner of fighting, the bloodshedder
To Allah a drawn sword to enemies

73. How much blood of idolators he spilled
Muhammad the distinguisher, the distinguisher

74. The news, the truthful, the confirmed
He is the tongue, the languages, the honest

75. The confirming, the confirmed, the loyal
Most truthful of Allah's creations in deed and word

76. Muhammad the truth, the truth of truth
Suppressor of falsehood, spirit of truth

77. Most truthful of people, essence of honesty
And forefront of truth, best of creations

78. From all Allah's creations, highest in rank
Muhammad the foremost, best of forerunners

79. The driver, the surpasser, slave of Creator
The outstanding, fortunate of creations and creatures

80. And Allah's argument over creatures
Who didn't obey, for him is Hellfire

81. Muhammad the distributor, of sustenance
And companion of ascension, and Buraaq

82. Rider of she-camel and Buraaq
Perfector of noble manners

95. To Allah a drawn sword to enemies
How much blood of idolators he spilled

96. Muhammad the distinguisher, the distinguisher
The news, the truthful, the confirmed

97. He is the tongue, the languages, the honest
The confirming, the confirmed, the loyal

98. Most truthful of Allah's creations in deed and word
Muhammad the truth, the truth of truth

99. Suppressor of falsehood, spirit of truth
Most truthful of people, essence of honesty

100. And forefront of truth, best of creations
From all Allah's creations, highest in rank

101. Muhammad the foremost, best of forerunners
The driver, the surpasser, slave of Creator

102. The outstanding, fortunate of creations and creatures
And Allah's argument over creatures

103. Who didn't obey, for him is Hellfire
Muhammad the distributor, of sustenance

104. And companion of ascension, and Buraaq
Rider of she-camel and Buraaq

105. Perfector of noble manners
To the generous, he came perfecting

106. Muhammad the dresser, the cloaked

He is the tongue, the languages, the honest

120. The confirming, the confirmed, the loyal
Most truthful of Allah's creations in deed and word

121. Muhammad the truth, the truth of truth
Suppressor of falsehood, spirit of truth

122. Most truthful of people, essence of honesty
And forefront of truth, best of creations

123. From all Allah's creations, highest in rank
Muhammad the foremost, best of forerunners

124. The driver, the surpasser, slave of Creator
The outstanding, fortunate of creations and creatures

125. And Allah's argument over creatures
Who didn't obey, for him is Hellfire

126. Muhammad the patient, the forbearing
The dresser, the victor, the visible

127. The controller, the leg, the beautiful, the shining
White who adorned his brilliance, shine

128. In his essence, beauty appeared completed
Muhammad the happy, the smiler

129. And the giggler, the bashful, the decisive
Slave of peace and everlasting peace

130. The reconciler, the submitted, the submitted
To every Muslim he became submitting

131. Muhammad the swearer and he is the oath
And of much silence, and the speaker

132. Most eloquent of Arabs, sharp-tongued
He is the caller and the called, the banner

133. My soul be sacrificed for him, unmatched in virtue, he knew
Muhammad the preceder, the preceded

134. For him over all humanity a foot
And companion of the sandals, bearer of burden

135. Rider of the noble, rider of the camel
And rider of the camel in the first scriptures

136. Signs of him, by them was known
Muhammad the proof, the hopeful

137. The proof, the clear, the assured
The just, the equitable, excellent the rule

138. None from him injustice, ever claimed
Muhammad the protector, the protected

139. The firm handhold, the solid, the declarer
The unseen, the seen, and the manifestor

140. The deterrer, the rouser, the reminder
As if a warner to an army, it attacked

141. Muhammad for him the banners, the resurrection
His intercession, the Pond, the Station

142. Its companion, particularized for him, the honor
A pulpit, forgiveness, and loincloth

143. All related to him, indeed magnified
Muhammad the powerful, the Compeller

144. Your slave, O Holy, O Compeller
O Lord, O Sustainer, O Subduer

145. O Lord, O Giver, O Forgiver
Grant for him and forgive who sinned

146. Muhammad the treasure, the abundant reserve
He is the rewarder, the benevolent, the dutiful

147. The good, best of prophets, the pride
The master, and the red and white

148. He guided humanity, Arab and non-Arab
Muhammad foremost of Arabs in virtue

149. And the selves of Arabs, rank raiser
Special with might, honor, glory, obligation

150. Over all Allah's creations, hardship reliever
Reliever of worries, however great

151. Muhammad the guide to good things
He is the pardoner, corrector of good deeds

152. He is the forgiving, for us, of mistakes
The last, the taker, of recompenses

153. To every Muslim he facilitated
Muhammad the preceding in good deeds

And highest abode, taker of charities
