1. Listen to the attributes of the one who bore the light
The light of the chosen Prophet, the bearer of glad tidings

2. The beauty of all creation, the noblest of all eras
The guide of mankind to his excellent, accepted religion

3. Whose law continues to guide them
God made evident to him through his grace

4. Wondrous signs for his mother during her pregnancy
Indicating to her his great nobility

5. That he is for God the best of messengers
And the elite of the elite of the worthy

6. During the night of pregnancy, the call rang out
And the earth and sky heard it

7. The light of the Chosen became a shelter
Within it, and it became a vessel for him

8. Good fortune to her, good fortune, from intimacy
God was kind to him in the womb

9. When his light amidst that darkness
And his mother felt no pain at all

10. She found no heaviness in carrying him
Despite it being inevitable for all who give birth

11. The difficulty of carrying him was alleviated when he was carried
And his mother did not find it burdensome like other women

12. She noticed the absence of menstruation
So she doubted, but then it passed, she would not be barren

13. She was certain of pregnancy without exertion
Then a messenger came to her with the best blessing

14. Giving her glad tidings from the Lord of the breaths
Of carrying the master of the best of nations

15. The master of every Arab and non-Arab
From this rightly-guided nation

16. God then made another messenger come to her
While she was neither sleeping nor awake

17. He said, “You have conceived and the intelligent are poetic
You have carried the master of mankind

18. So receive the good news”
Then the most righteous counselor came to her

19. He said, “When will you bring that glorious one?
Tell him I protect him with the One

20. From the evil of every approaching harmdoer
Name him Muhammad, he will attain praise”

21. Before the pregnancy of Ahmad, Quraish
Was in great hardship and depressed living

22. If they planted, they could not harvest
Or spent their money, they found nothing

23. They despaired of mercy and sustenance
With his pregnancy, the rains descended

24. The plants and trees became verdant
The seeds and fruits became plentiful

25. And the traders came to them afterwards
So the price of their provisions and goods decreased

26. They called it the year of joy and happiness
When they rejoiced and hardship left them

27. God allowed them what He allowed
Through the blessing of the one whose pregnancy widened the universe

28. And the inauspiciousness of its misfortune disappeared into good fortune
Every idol was found overturned

29. The throne of every king was upended
This pleased the Holy King

30. And saddened their chief disbeliever, Iblis
I mean by him the accursed old devil

31. Their livestock gave good tidings of his pregnancy
And the night of his conception spoke of his grace

32. The imam of the two worlds, matchless
He is the lamp of its people and his family

33. God made it speak, the Restorer, the Manifester
The beast in the east is the knowledgeable one

34. For it is the bearer of glad tidings to the beast of the west
These wilderness, and likewise the seas

35. Its whales are harbingers to each other
For he is the mercy to every individual

36. During the month, a call for him rang out
A listener, and likewise the sky

37. Proclaiming, give glad tidings, for bliss has drawn near
The generous dispensing Chosen will come

38. Blessed for every good he causes
And my Lord gladdened women with joy

39. That they conceived males in his year
As an honor to the one who came as a warner

40. To the guided and the transgressor
So it was a year of extended joy

41. On the night of pregnancy, no house remained
Where the dawn broke without it being lit with lights

42. Likewise the sun in its rising
When it approached and the crescent came near

43. It had no effect on the eyes with cloudiness
My Lord removed the veils from my sight

44. So my eyes saw something amazing
I saw the east and west

45. And found no discomfort from what I saw
And my nearness increased when my distance vanished

46. My eye saw three standards
Two in the east and west standing

47. As if they gave glad tidings to mankind
While the single one stood upright over the Kaaba

48. A sign of his victory and glory
After I was thus upon guidance

49. Labor pains seized me and light appeared
It did not cease to intensify and subside

50. Until I gave birth to my son Muhammad
The happiest newborn, so my bliss was complete

51. His mother bore him so day broke
Cleansed, scented, perfumed

52. None saw in him any dirtiness or filth
Complete, circumcised, purified

53. With the foreskin cut without excess
And she saw with him accompanying light

54. It emerged from it and remained kindled
Until it illuminated east and west

55. She saw from it the palaces of Syria and archaeological tells
She saw with her eyes from afar

56. She said while he was prostrating when he descended
And submitting humbly to his Lord

57. Then from the sky towards me a cloud came
And concealed the best of messengers from me

58. Saying, “Walk around him so they may know the news
Eastwards, westwards, by land and sea

59. So they may recognize the master, the Chosen
By name, appearance, and pleasing description

60. By which polytheism and all disbelief is erased”
And it swiftly uncovered him so he appeared

61. And returned to me as he had gone, supported
Upon my hands when I placed him leaning

62. Then he filled his hands with earth
Indicating his possession of it afterwards

63. And he raised his head to the heaven
Turning to the Knower of all splendor

64. When He created him from the light of this All-Seeing
The origin of origins and my Father of fathers

65. And all are like His children before Him
On the night of Monday, the twelfth

66. Near dawn in the appearing spring
So the universe shone with his appearance at dawn

67. And the sun was humbled, surpassed by the moon
And the full moon spoke to him in the cradle

68. And the best wet nurse nourished him
Halimah of the noblest clans

69. She had insufficient livelihood before
So she became the most prosperous of the sedentary

70. Happy, she was made fortunate by his fortune
My Lord, by his status with You

71. We appealed through him to You
Relying on You, our Lord, upon You

72. And seeking good from Your hand
So inspire all with the path of righteousness

73. My Lord, by his status, answer our call
And give us and those we love our request

74. Accept, my God, our words and deeds
And reform, our God, our souls and families

75. And protect them from all harm
My Lord, forgive us our sins

76. My Lord, conceal our faults
My Lord, facilitate the desired

77. My Lord, and make difficult the feared
And distance that which is hated completely

78. My Lord, forgive our parents
Our elders, siblings, and children

79. Reform their worldly lives and religion for them
And house us altogether in Your highest heaven

80. While we are among them in the gardens of eternity
My Lord, protect for us the Sultan

81. Double for us, double his benevolence for him
And aid him, my Lord, over our enemies

82. And guard, my God, our religion and worldly lives
Through him and his workers and soldiers

83. Reform, my Lord, his workers
Reform his subjects and beautify his state

84. Enable him to attain what pleases his hopes
And make for us his words his actions

85. Praiseworthy, making us pronounce praise
My Lord, have mercy on the nation of the Chosen

86. In every era and every land
And guard them from the authority of foreigners

87. In all the countries and regions
In every valley and every highland

88. Respond, my Lord, to our prayers through him
Give us safety, my Lord, through him, from our fears

89. Improve, my Lord, through him our states
And change our evil with good through him

90. And save us from envy and hatred
Bless him, my God, with prayers without limit

91. Without beginning or end
And his family and companions, the guiding stars

92. For those of his nation who follow their guidance
While the opposite are for the people of expulsion

93. Be pleased, my Lord, with the first caliph
His companion, the highly revered truthful one

94. Who gave him his wealth and the best of women
Then waged war on Rome and Persian lands

95. And repelled every ignorant apostate
Be pleased, my Lord, with the best of mankind after Abu Bakr, Umar

96. Vanquisher of Kisra and destroyer of Caesar
Lion of the wastelands, leader of the evil hordes

97. I mean Abu Hafs, brother of Zayd
Be pleased, my Lord, with the noble, superior son-in-law

98. Husband of the two daughters of the best messenger
Uthman of the two lights and manifest virtues

99. Equipper of the army for the best messenger
He equipped it with camels and cash

100. Be pleased, my Lord, with the Leader Imam Ali
Husband of the Virgin, source of the best progeny

101. Door of the Prophet, vanquisher of Khaybar’s door
Its conqueror after the army’s incapacity

102. Slayer of Marhab and Amr and Dhi al-Kila
Be pleased, my God, with the ten complete ones

103. And all who witnessed Badr and the Pledge of Ridwan
And Uhud, and all whom he looked upon

104. For they are all just people whom He has exonerated
And seal for us through their status, righteousness

105. And praise be to God, for the account is complete
Of the birth of the Chosen, master of mankind

106. One thousand, three hundred, and twelve years
Is the date of composition of this string of pearls
