1. Praise be to Allah for His blessings
The praise of one sincere in his devotion

2. I praise Him and praise is among His blessings
That He singled us out with the best of His prophets

3. Muhammad, master of all servants
I testify that Allah is One, to be worshipped

4. And that the best of His creation is Muhammad
His messenger, the perfecter and renewer

5. And all who believe him with no doubt
Are eternal in the gardens of eternity

6. When Allah willed to create him, He made
His light first before all else

7. From it the worlds took their inner essence
Before His throne His oceans had flowed

8. After all else a pen inscribed
He, from all existent, is without limit

9. All creation came from his light
The high and low derive from him

10. So the universe is a branch and he the root
None in the worlds can equal him

11. Without him the cosmos would cease to be
First Allah created was his light

12. From it life bloomed and appeared
He was before the throne with rivers

13. A pen inscribed after his coming all was clear
From all existent absent a bound

14. Then the Creator formed Adam
From clay after forming the world

15. Giving him the light - the Hashimite glow
Muhammad the guide, father of all

16. Marvel at him having a child as ancestor
For him Allah created Eve

17. Adam inclined to her, desirous
She manifested from being so close

18. He was told pay her dowry equally
Bless Muhammad, the praised perpetually

19. They dwelled in the garden of the Merciful
Enjoying only beauty and kindness

20. Until Satan came with his lies
And they ate so both were cast down

21. Falling to earth, the land of India
To Adam were born many sons

22. Seth the best of them certainly
To him He gave His guarded light

23. Saying be a keeper, trusted fully
Command thus those after you steadfastly

24. Seth instructed the children
To choose noble women as wives

25. Those of highest lineage and stature
Of each clan of proud ancestry

26. Noble of lineage, glorious of deed
Thus Seth's sons after him

27. Charged their sons to follow his way
Generation to generation they fulfilled his aim

28. Each man commanded his sons thus
Guarding the light from all impurity

29. They married with only pure intent
Far from all looseness and sin

30. None gathered for mere passion
Among them leaders of virtue shone

31. Lions amidst jackals roared
Each an individual pride

32. Uniquely exalted in his time
None matched his glory and righteousness

33. A monotheist in public and secret
Each in the gardens of eternity

34. Until the best of creation came well-bred
Chosen above all people in lineage and merit

35. From the finest of every branch derived
Highest in ancestors, mother and father

36. His glory too great for bounds
When his light reached his noble father

37. Best of the generous, lauded prophet
The full moon gained his likeness

38. The sun of the Prophet's light gave him nobility
So he was the greatest trace of him

39. People sought his hand, each desiring
When they saw him complete and refined

40. Highest of Quraysh in lineage and ancestry
Most beautiful, luminous in splendor

41. His light blazing upon his brow
His father married him to the best woman

42. Amina the protected, most precious pearl
Daughter of Wahb, best of delights

43. Her grandfather was Abd Manaf ibn Zuhrah
Noblest match, glorified pairing

44. Honored with her, virtuous, lauded
Honored with that stalwart husband

45. None were their match or equal
Possessing all glory, honor in full

46. By the best of those who reigned in the cradle
Adorned with traits of virtue

47. Radiant in celestial beauty
Accompanied by beloved companions

48. Tied to the clan of Talib
An honored pairing of good fortune

49. Amina the trusted carried
The singular, concealed pearl

50. Highest in value, greatest treasure
While she, not leaving it, was delighted

51. Protecting it from all malice
She carried the Chosen one, pride of all

52. Best of creation, a fertile palm
Whose mention exudes fragrant musk

53. Sweet aroma surpassing fine amber
Outshining rose and floral scent

54. She carried the beloved of Allah
His intimate and close friend

55. Whom Allah ennobled with highest glory
Distinct in favor over all peers

56. After One, the best of those alone
She carried the perfecter of perfection

57. Seal of prophets, last of all
Sun of guidance, best of the best

58. At his service each prophet sent
And they - by God - are a mighty host

59. She carried the one by whom they appealed
To their Lord, attaining what they sought

60. Taking from them the Covenant first
To believe and aid him, they accepted

61. Nor failed meeting the terms agreed
Had Moses and Jesus been of them

62. In his time, obedient to him
Breaking crosses, hallowing the call

63. Sanctifying his prayer, exalting him
He was their prophet, none can dispute

64. She carried the owner of many signs
Most prophets in marvels and miracles

65. Highest ranked in every circumstance
Every excellence, early and late

66. All beneath his standard's shade
She carried the intercessor sought

67. That feared day amidst its horrors
When mankind is flooded in seas of tears

68. Seeking intercession from prophets
But when they came to intercede

69. He said: your satisfaction's with me
Bowing beneath the throne - best prostrator

70. Praiser with most perfect praise
Interceding for kin and strangers alike

71. Manner of the noble, generous, lauded
His Master said: Intercede my servant!

72. So under the throne he gently glided
She carried the master, fortunate

73. Praiser, Muhammad the lauded
Ahmad of Allah's creation for the Praised

74. Their best openly, without restriction
In his exalted age and every age

75. Hear the attributes she carried of his light
The light of the Chosen Prophet and bearer of good news

76. Beauty of all creation, honor of all times
Guide of the world, his upright religion

77. His law remains guiding among them
Allah revealed wonders to her during her carrying

78. Hinting at his great nobility
That he is Allah's best of messengers

79. The nights spoke with his glory
And beasts witnessed in east and west

80. The jinn who listened were barred
Hearing but a shooting star tailing them

81. Like an arrow aimed, hurtling toward them
Promising evil and hellfire for them

82. Tidings came from many heralds
Affirmed by seers and wise men

83. Proclaiming the coming of the Chosen
Monotheism and light near

84. So polytheism after today cannot avail
In the month voices called out

85. Heard by earth and by heaven
That I give tidings, joy has drawn near

86. The generous bringer of tawhid and light
Blessed to all good he inspires

87. And God was gracious to women
Bearing male children that year

88. Honoring the bringer of glad tidings
And warnings, to the guided and astray

89. So a year of rejoicing continued
The night of her conception no household

90. Remained that was not lit with lights
Sun in setting and rising witnessed it

91. As stars appeared to the watchers
Hung for adornment without aim

92. Beyond the night of power it was yet finer
Collecting all our joys and intimacy

93. Granting us ample blessings and gifts
Attaining every goal and ambition

94. All wants without limit
From the night of power this we see as better

95. Gathering our delights and pleasures
Expanding blessings and graces to us

96. Reaching every goal and wish
Neither hot nor cold in it I felt

97. God gladdened the faithful therein
Dimming Persian fires and temples

98. Dousing all, splitting their icons
Their priest saw destruction of their kingdom

99. In a dream their rule overturned
The jinn who listened were barred

100. Taking positions, forcibly turned
Any who listened found a tailing star

101. Like an arrow toward them aimed steady
Promising them in hellfire evil and harm

102. And many news came from heralds
Affirmed by soothsayers and monks

103. Proclaiming the coming of the Chosen
Tawhid and light drawing near

104. So polytheism after today cannot avail
The birth of the Chosen drew near

105. The world shone brilliant with lights
From its horizons flowed rivers

106. Like lanterns for the onlookers
Hung for beauty deliberately

107. The angels opened heavens' doors
By His command to the gardens

108. Closing hell's doors barred and locked
Rejoicing like houris and youths

109. As he was the source of their light
Overflowing through realms were their joys

110. At the best of prophets, chosen guide
Opening doors of heaven

111. Dawn clothed herself in splendor
In most wondrous dress and cloak

112. Amina the fortunate told
Prudent in all her affairs:

113. An isolate condition came to me
None near to comfort my solitude

114. In my home I sat alone
None knew of me, neither neighbor nor kin

115. While Abd al-Muttalib circled round
I was perplexed, my heart full of fear

116. But I recalled, wandered not from propriety
While thus in my place, suddenly

117. I heard a crash and shocking affair
Then as if a bird gently stroked me

118. Upon my heart with a soft wing
Dispelling my fear and ache

119. I then saw a drink that cannot be unknown
White containing milk and honey

120. I drank it and light descended from above
Comforting my loneliness when it came

121. Best drink of milk and honey
I saw women visitors of mine

122. Tall as palm trees, glorious stance
As if the daughters of the glorious

123. Abd Manaf, father of the magnificent
Noblest father, finest sons

124. They came to my company, gazing at me
I was struck by wonder at them

125. Saying from whence came your knowing of me
They tended me and said no wonders be

126. Asia, Maryam - maidens of eternity
Spread between earth and heaven

127. White brocade of splendor unfurled
A voice proclaiming loudly

128. Take him from all eyes
I heard yet comprehended not the words

129. In the horizon I saw men
Standing, leaving no space

130. In their hands forms
Silver flasks as mountains appeared

131. Forged purely, flawless
A flock of birds came covered

132. All my places and rooms
Their beaks were radiant emeralds

133. Rubies visible in their feathers
Their beauty beyond all limits

134. From me my Lord lifted veils
My eyes witnessed something wondrous

135. Seeing east and west
Finding no traces of weariness

136. Drawn near as remoteness faded
My eyes witnessed three flags

137. Two in east and west flourished
As if heralding tidings to mankind

138. The singular above Kaaba erected
Sign of his victory and might

139. After being thus guided
Labor seized me, light manifested

140. Continuous then easing
Until I delivered my Muhammad

141. Happiest birth, my joy made complete
His mother bore him so day broke

142. Washed, perfumed and fragrant
No filth or stain upon him appeared

143. Perfect, circumcised and immaculate
Cut with no excess, complete

144. She saw light accompanying him
Blazing from her, remaining lit

145. Illuminating east and west
Seeing from it Damascus' palaces

146. Beholding from her head's pinnacle to afar
She said he was prostrate when born

147. Bowing to his Lord, supplicating
When from heaven toward me came

148. A cloud that hid the best of creations
Saying circle around the best of servants

149. Circle him that they know the news
East and west, land and sea

150. To recognize him, the master, Chosen One
By name, form, attributes pleasureful

151. Banishing polytheism, ignorance entirely
Then from him it parted suddenly, so he appeared

152. As he had been when I'd been delivered of him
At my hands leaning when placed

153. Then he reached to grasp earth's dust
Indicating his possession of it to come

154. He lifted his head to the heaven
Recalling his creation from the light of the Seer

155. Origin of origins, father of fathers
Before whom all are like children

156. If not for him the cosmos would cease
His light preceded all else created

157. The worlds took from his inner secret their joy
So he was before and they came after

158. Marvel at him having ancestors yet no ancestors
A wonder! From light he was created

159. Then the Creator formed Adam from clay
After shaping the universe entirely

160. Granting him the Hashimite light
Muhammad the guide, father of all

161. So marvel at him having child and parent
Order worship of Muhammad my beloved servant

162. Amina carried the singular pearl
The chosen master of mankind

163. He came to her from the light of the Seer
The source of light, lord of fathers

164. All creation stems from his light
Contingent, derived while he's independent

165. None in the worlds his equal exists
Without him the cosmos would fail

166. His light came first in order
Then came the crown of fathers, Adam

167. How wondrous! Having a child as ancestor
Silence the tongues of every doubting fool

168. My inward and insight have attained certainty
They are immortal, in eternity abiding

169. Brought to life by the Merciful's power
Believing in their Hijazi son

170. Bow in humility descendants of Ma'ad!
How pitiful their orphaned state in his absence!

171. His father passed before his mother
The angels in heavens pained by his agony

172. Appealing to their Lord in His wisdom
Saying: let be Your chosen and beloved

173. He lost both while still short of twenty
Leaving no children but him, the Adnanite

174. Had they lived to old age with him secured
The world in him finding joy and faith

175. Attaining each and every fortune
But his Lord sought his isolation

176. Depriving him parents' company
Entrusting him solely to His tutelage

177. So no gift to a servant could be implied
Making all creation subservient to him

178. Ever obedient, never failing him
Quenching and feeding constantly

179. The chosen, free lord, lauded, designated
My soul is his ransom, and my father and mother!

180. Our master Muhammad best of prophets
Surpassing creation in lineage and ancestry

181. Son of Abdullah scion of glorious ascendants
Yielded twenty pure ancestors among the Arabs

182. Halting after this noble ancestor
Honored thereby be this great lineage:

183. They are Mecca’s masters, Abdul Muttalib
Hashim, Abd Manaf the noblest ancestor

184. Their ascendant Qusayy of glorious fame
Descendant of Kilab of honored abode

185. Umayya, then Hashim the clan's protector
Abd Shams and Nawfal graced by eminence

186. Then Mudrika, Ilyas son of Mudar
Nizar their ancestor, Ma'ad the lion

187. His father Adnan from whom the news came
The Prophet's lineage ends at this lauded ancestor

188. Most honored thereby, this magnificent lineage
Most honored thereby, this protected ancestry

189. Most honored thereby, this perfected jewel
Most honored by this sun and stars ablazing

190. A sun of fortune, stars of felicity
His ancestors each carried a special nobility

191. None like him in his time bore such honor
Each was a pearl and he the essence of honey

192. Each a star while he is the shining moon
Their magnificence from his light derived

193. As he is the jewel and they shells
He the nectar and they bees

194. The best, most lauded of creatures
Master of humanity, king without crown

195. Until came the best of creation, well-mannered
Quintessence of humanity, in lineage and deeds

196. From the finest of every branch accumulated
Highest in ancestors, father and mother

197. Surpassing all in generosity without contending
Whose glory transcended all bounds

198. The people sought him and each coveted
When they saw him complete, refined

199. Highest of Quraysh in birth and ancestry
Most beautiful, luminous in splendor

200. The light upon his brow kindled
When the light reached his magnificent father

201. Best of the noble, praised, prophetic
The full moon gained perfection thereby

202. The sun of the Prophet's light brought him nobility
So he was the greatest vestige of him

203. People sought his company, each desiring
When they saw him complete, refined

204. Foremost Quraysh in ascent, ancestry
Most beautiful in brilliance and splendor

205. The light blazing upon his brow
His father married him to the best woman

206. Protected Aminah, most precious pearl
Daughter of Wahb, finest delight

207. Her grandfather Abd Manaf son of Zahra
Most honored match, magnified wedding!

208. Highly graced with her, most virtuous
Highly graced with that stalwart groom

209. None matched them nor matched their equal
He attained every glory and good thing

210. Through best of those who reigned while infants
Adorned with traits
