1. Oh, if only he would stay in Medina
Receiving kindness and gifts there

2. Living in the shade of a guardian master
With eternal servitude at his door

3. Muhammad is the best of all creations
Without him, this existence would not be known

4. Master of all masters, the most generous
The humblest answerer to those who call him

5. Say, O beloved of the Merciful, his deputy
Kings and caliphs sought you as representative

6. Look upon your manifest religion tomorrow
As the target of unbelief in all lands

7. See how they have gathered against us
While we, though many, are made weak

8. In this time, be of insight for us
As you were in the past that came before

9. A servant of yours, if you command him
Will repent the wrongs against us he did

10. While you are a servant of God, his elite
We have done evil, so if you pardon, pardon
