1. Oh how I wish I could reach the Hejaz
And live there happily, what bliss!

2. My darkness dispelled by Badr's light
Shining in Taybah, home of the pure

3. Muhammad, master of all mankind
The best of creation, outstanding

4. Last seal of God's prophets, adorned
May Allah bless them, the excellent crafter

5. The world now filled with his guidance
Before which it had been empty

6. He brought a faith to guide and steer
Refuting all creeds forcefully

7. The antidote of his tawhid is life
While polytheism is a festering thorn

8. By my life he is a fortress, a refuge
From all who accuse and vilify

9. Truly Allah saw wonders in his night journey
To the Throne, though its edge remains unseen

10. And returned in one night, blessed
By the Grace of the Merciful in abundance
