بما فيه من خمر الملاحة نشوان
And where is al-Raml station? No weariness, for I am
Where is the sand dune not where I am

If ever you desire poetry, then seek it with her,
If I want poetry, I recite it in their presence
for within her is a demon for the master poet’s heart.
For in them for the poet's heart a devilish temptation
