ماnot ضلwent astray منwhoever تبعfollowed النبيthe Prophet محمداMuhammad
ما ضل من تبع النبي محمدا
فيماin what يقةلhe says بلrather اهتدىwas guided لصوابهto his correctness
فيما يقةل بل اهتدى لصوابه
Whoever followed the Prophet Muhammad did not stray
No one who follows the Prophet Muhammad has gone astray
in what he says; rather, he was guided to its truth.
In what he says; rather, he has been guided to his right way.
واناand I بحمدwith praise of اللهGod عبدa servant مؤمنbelieving
وانا بحمد الله عبد مؤمن
بجميعin all of ماwhat هذاthis النبيthe Prophet اتىcame بهwith it
بجميع ما هذا النبي اتى به
And I, praise be to God, am a believing servant
And I, praise be to God, am a servant who believes
who believes in all that this Prophet brought.
In all that this Prophet has brought.
وبذاكand through that ارجوI hope انthat انالI may attain شفاعةintercession
وبذاك ارجو ان انال شفاعة
منهfrom him لانيbecause I مقتدa follower بجنابهof his noble person
منه لاني مقتد بجنابه
Through that, I hope to attain intercession
And through that I hope to obtain intercession
from him, for I take his noble person as my guide.
From him, for I follow his noble example.
ولقدand indeed حظيتI was favored بهwith him مناماًin a dream باسماًsmiling
ولقد حظيت به مناماً باسماً
منfrom بعدafter تشريفيmy being honored بحسنwith the beauty of خطابهhis address
من بعد تشريفي بحسن خطابه
Indeed, I was blessed to see him in a dream, smiling,
And indeed I was blessed to meet him smiling in a dream,
after he honored me with his gracious words.
After I was honored by his gracious address.
فاللهso God يجزيهrewards him بخيرwith the best of جزائهHis recompense
فالله يجزيه بخير جزائه
ويمنحهand grants him اجلthe most exalted of ثوابهHis reward
ويمنحه اجل ثوابه
May God reward him with the finest of His rewards
So may God reward him with His finest recompense,
and grant him the most sublime of His recompense.
And grant him His most exalted reward.
