His equal is so rare that they have indeed testified

Matchless it is, they even testified

That he is the peerless luminary in the sciences.

That in knowledge, it is peerless and unified

وقد أصاب محشيه وضابطه

وقد أصاب محشيه وضابطه

من حيث وافق المعنى به الكلم

من حيث وافق المعنى به الكلم

And its annotator and textual editor have indeed hit the mark,

Its commentator grasped and organized it

In that the words in it accord with the meaning.

Matching meaning with words, excellently qualified

فألبس الأصل تفسيراً يسر به

إذا تأمل فيه الحاذق الفهم
