لِ وَيا أفضل الخلائق طرّا

لِ وَيا أفضل الخلائق طرّا

O beloved of God, O master of the messengers,

O beloved of God, O master of messengers

And O best of all creation without exception.

And most virtuous of all creatures high and low

أنتَ روحُ الوجودِ سفلاً وعلوا

أنتَ روحُ الوجودِ سفلاً وعلوا

وَمدارُ السعودِ دُنيا وأخرى

وَمدارُ السعودِ دُنيا وأخرى

You are the soul of existence, below and above,

You are the soul of existence above and below

And the pivot of good fortune in this world and the next.

And the axis of prosperity in this world and the next

أنتَ أَصلٌ لكلِّ خيرٍ منَ اللَ

أنتَ أَصلٌ لكلِّ خيرٍ منَ اللَ

هِ يصل العالمين سرّاً وجهرا

هِ يصل العالمين سرّاً وجهرا

You are the source of every good from God

You are the origin of all good from God

That reaches the worlds, secretly and openly.

Connecting the worlds secretly and openly

أودعَ اللَّه فيك كلّ كمالٍ

أودعَ اللَّه فيك كلّ كمالٍ

منهُ قسّمت في العوالم نزرا

منهُ قسّمت في العوالم نزرا

God has placed in you every perfection;

God deposited in you every perfection

From it you distributed a little among the worlds.

From which portions were divided among the worlds

كلُّ فضلِ الورى لفضلك جزءٌ

كلُّ فضلِ الورى لفضلك جزءٌ

أنتَ أيضاً بذلكَ الجزءِ أحرى

أنتَ أيضاً بذلكَ الجزءِ أحرى

All the excellence of creation is a portion of your excellence;

Every virtue in creation is a part of your virtue

You, too, have greater claim to that portion.

And with that same part you are more worthy

فَعليكَ الصلاةُ نورٌ من اللَ

فَعليكَ الصلاةُ نورٌ من اللَ

هِ تَراها على ضريحكَ تَترى

هِ تَراها على ضريحكَ تَترى

So upon you be blessing, a light from God;

So blessings and light from God be upon you

You see it upon your tomb, coming in succession.

Shining on your tomb for all to see

وعلى الآلِ والصحابةِ جَمعاً

وعلى الآلِ والصحابةِ جَمعاً

وَعَلينا أيضاً كما قلت عَشرا

وَعَلينا أيضاً كما قلت عَشرا

And upon your family and companions, all together,

And on your family and companions all together

And upon us too, as you said, tenfold.

And on us also, as you have said, in multitudes
