Sol 6.1

  1. أحبُّ لي من كلِّ من فوقَ الثرى

    عربُ النقا روحي فدا عربِ النقا

    Dearer to me than all who dwell upon the earth

    Are the Arabs of al-Naqa; my soul be ransom for the Arabs of al-Naqa.

  2. وَخيرُ أوقاتِ الفتى في مكّةٍ

    تُجلسهُ في حجرها أمُّ القرى

    And a young man's finest hours are in Mecca,

    Where the Mother of Cities seats him in her lap.

  3. وأطيبُ العيشِ لنا بطيبةٍ

    في ظلِّ مَولانا النبيِّ المصطفى

    And life is sweetest for us in Tayba,

    In the shade of our master, the chosen Prophet.

  4. شمسُ الهدى روحُ الوجودِ أحمدٌ

    محمّدٌ طهَ الأمينُ المُجتبى

    The sun of guidance, the spirit of existence—Ahmad,

    Muhammad, Taha, the Trustworthy, the Elect;

  5. أَصلُ وجودِ العالمينَ كلّهم

    لولاهُ هَذا الكونُ ما كانَ بَدا

    The source of the existence of all the worlds—

    Without him, this universe would never have appeared.

  6. الدهرُ قد أبصرَ بعد بعثهِ

    وَكانَ قبلَ البعثِ أعمى لا يَرى

    Time gained sight after he was sent forth,

    And before his mission, it was blind and could not see.

  7. أَحيا وأَفنى أُمماً بهديهِ

    وَسيفهِ حتّى به الدين علا

    He gave life to and annihilated nations through his guidance

    And his sword, until through him the faith rose high.

  8. لَو كانَ مَن يجحدهُ حيّاً لما

    أَنكرهُ لأنّه روح الورى

    If the one who denies him were alive, he would not

    Deny him, for he is the spirit of humankind.

  9. لَم يرَ في كلّ البرايا شبههُ

    في كلّ عصرٍ قد مضى ولن يُرى

    His like has not been seen among all created beings,

    In any age gone by, nor will his like ever be seen.

  10. فَريدُ خلقِ اللَّه لا مثل له

    إليهِ في كلّ الكمال المُنتهى

    Peerless among God's creation, he has no equal;

    All perfection reaches its utmost in him.
