Ah, how lovely a sojourn among the palms,
Oh, how delightful is alighting amidst palm trees,
And deep shade in the environs of al-Aqiq.
With shade beneath the arms of the precious stone, shady.

Will we one day attain them?

We kiss the earth touched by the foot of him
Whose trains were drawn above the sky, so long.
For whom trailing hems were drawn above the sky.

The prophet of all prophets is Muhammed,
نبيُّthe prophet of جميعِall الأنبياءِthe prophets محمّدٌMuhammad
نَعَمyes ولكلّand to all المرسلينthe messengers رسولُa messenger
Muhammad is the prophet of all the prophets,
Yes, and for all messengers he is the messenger.
Yes, and a messenger to all the messengers.
Each messenger was sent to a specific people,
وَكلُّand every رسولٍmessenger خصّsingled out قوماًa people وإنّهand indeed he
ببعثتِهthrough his mission للعالمينfor all the worlds شمولُall-embracing scope
And every messenger addressed a particular people, whereas he
Yet his message was for all in its totality.
Embraces all the worlds through his mission.
None among creation can equal Ahmed,
فَماso not كانthere was بينَamong الخلقِcreation مثلٌan equal لأحمدٍto Ahmad
وَليسَand there is not لهfor him فيمنamong those who يكونwill exist مثيلُa peer
So among creation there has been no equal to Ahmad,
Nor will his like exist among those to come.
And none yet to come will be his peer.
Degrees of virtue are present in each virtuous soul,
وَكلّand all صنوفِforms of الفضلِexcellence فيin كلِّevery فاضلٍvirtuous person
بِنسبةِin comparison with فضلٍexcellence قدindeed حواهhe has encompassed it قليلُlittle
And every form of excellence in every virtuous person
Proportionate to the meagre virtue he contains.
Is little beside the excellence he possesses.
The messengers will defer to him on Judgment Day,
يحيلُrefer عليهِto him المرسلونَthe messengers بحشرهمat their gathering
وليسَand he does not علىto غيرother than الإلهGod يحيلُrefer
At their gathering, the messengers defer to him,
And none will assume responsibility except the Divine.
And he defers to none but God.
He alone will shoulder the burdens of creation,
فَيحملُso he bears أثقالَthe burdens of الخلائقِall creatures وحدهُby himself
لَدىbefore ربّهhis Lord إنّindeed الكريمthe generous one حمولُone who bears much
So he bears the burdens of all creatures alone,
For the Benevolent - only He is burden-bearing.
Before his Lord; indeed, the generous one bears much.
