So I swear an oath, without fear

I swear an oath I do not fear to break

Of breaking that oath, and without doubt:

With perjury or hesitation

لوجهكَ أحسن الخلفاء وجهاً

لوجهكَ أحسن الخلفاء وجهاً

وأسمحهم يدين ولا أحابي

وأسمحهم يدين ولا أحابي

Indeed, yours is the fairest face among the caliphs,

By your face, most beautiful of rulers

And you are the most open-handed of them—and I show no favoritism.

Most generous of hands, upright, no favor
