كخلةِ اللفظِ في اللاماتِ والألفِ

كخلةِ اللفظِ في اللاماتِ والألفِ

And the quality of pronunciation in the yāʾs, when mentioned,

is like the quality of pronunciation in the lāms and alif.

وخصلةُ الراءِ فيها غيرُ خافيةٍ

وخصلةُ الراءِ فيها غيرُ خافيةٍ

فأعرفْ مواقِعهَا في القولِ والصحف

فأعرفْ مواقِعهَا في القولِ والصحف

And rāʾ’s characteristic in them is not hidden;

so recognize its occurrences in speech and on the written pages.
