سأَلتُ في النَومِ أَبي آدَما

سأَلتُ في النَومِ أَبي آدَما

فَقُلتُ وَالقَلبُ بِهِ وامِقُ

فَقُلتُ وَالقَلبُ بِهِ وامِقُ

In a dream, I asked my father Adam,

In a dream I asked my father Adam,

and said, my heart fond of him:

And I said, my heart beating fast:

أَاِبنُكَ بِاللَهِ أَبو حازِمٍ

أَاِبنُكَ بِاللَهِ أَبو حازِمٍ

صَلّى عَلَيكَ المالِكُ الخالِقُ

صَلّى عَلَيكَ المالِكُ الخالِقُ

“By God, is Abu Hazim your son?

By God, father of Hazim,

May the Sovereign Creator bless you!”

The Creator Angel prayed upon you -

فَقالَ لي إِن كانَ مِنّي وَمِن

فَقالَ لي إِن كانَ مِنّي وَمِن

نَسلي فَحَوّا أُمُّكُم طالِقُ

نَسلي فَحَوّا أُمُّكُم طالِقُ

Then he said to me, “If he is of me and of

So he said to me: If you are from me,

my offspring, then Eve, your mother, is divorced!”

From my lineage, then your mother is divorced.
